They say a good writer feels from their gut and writes from their soul. Therefore, here goes nothing. Your soul can be deep and everything you make of it, including the good and the bad. The wanting of your voice to be heard may stir and linger for however long you let it fester, but your soul always knows not only the real truth, but the depth. Pouring your heart into something or someone takes effort, strength and even courage. Some of these traits come naturally for some. For others, it is something we have to put a little bit of effort into. Everyday people strive to be somebody. And those that do not have lost hope. The voices inside our heads are not the same voices that we will verbally speak to one another. Sometimes it is interesting to think about what truly is beneath a person. Maybe a friend or a family member, maybe even a celebrity you admire. To feel free, is the key for many people, to feel the love that many wish, hope, and dream about daily. Why is it that loving ourselves, for many of us, is the last outcome we ever truly examine? Is it a fear? An idea that seems so out of this world? In school you are taught, besides academics, to be honest, to have integrity, and to be loyal, but never to take pride in who you are. Those that do go over on it do not truly understand what that teacher, or mentor, may mean. To love you who you are? That is crazy, many of the students would say. Being who you are is like freeing yourself and respecting yourself in order to allow the love to enter and accept everything about you. Your soul is accepting. It never judges. Allow yourself to accept and never judge either. Everyone is who he or she is for reasons we will never truly ever know or understand.
