I have had this fear of not being intelligent enough for as long as I can remember and it has hindered me through a good portion of my education and into my adulthood. I am not sure where it stems from, but I feel it has held me back or I have caused myself to hold back out of fear of not being smart enough. I feel it could also be a fear of failure. I have always felt like I was dumb or lacked education which is also part of what caused me to derail from applying to colleges initially.
I love to write as I have expressed before and it would be a dream if one day I could have my writing published. I would love to publish poetry, a fictional short story, or a book in the young adult literature genre. Young adult literature and Poetry are my two favorite genres of literature. Thus, being able to have my writing published, even as simple as a poem or short story, I would attempt if I was guaranteed not to fail.
My passion for writing and desire to write more is why I began writing in this space again.
