I find successful to be a term that is complex and one that is personally perception based. I feel the word successful is sort of like the term sobriety. I believe that every person has their own perceptions on certain words like sobriety and or successful based on their experiences. However, the first person who comes to my mind when I think of “successful” is former WWE CEO and CBO Stephanie McMahon. Stephanie McMahon is someone that I have been admiring and been looking up to through most of her career. I became a fan of hers back in 1999. I was seven.
Stephanie McMahon began her career as an intern and worked her way up the ladder in the WWE. Despite being the former chairman, Vince McMahon’s daughter, she emulated and created her own role in the WWE. She paved the way for collaboration of businesses, increase of family gatherings at shows, and multiple foundations. Stephanie is an advocate and plays a vital role in foundations she helped found such as Connor’s Cure (pediatric cancer foundation), Be A Star (Anti-Bullying program in schools), a movement to help push and shine light on the women professional wrestlers, women in sports and business empowerment/advocate, and many others. She is also a wife and a mother of three. To me, Stephanie McMahon defines “successful” as being educated, financially stable, having helpful hands and tools in multiple areas, and being a wonderful wife and mother.
