I am not sure that I have a favorite place to go, but one of my favorite places to go that instantly comes to mind is Las Vegas, Nevada. There is something about the energy you feel when walking the strip of Las Vegas. I know Las Vegas is a lot of walking and as a kid growing up with a single parent we hardly travelled. The first time I visited Las Vegas, back in 2018, was like visiting multiple places at once. I love that each of the hotels has their own themes, attractions, and food places to observe. My favorite hotels that I have either visited or stayed in are the Excalibur, Flamingo, and horseshoe (It used to be called Bally’s).
I enjoy Vegas having so much to offer besides gambling. I don’t gamble. I go to enjoy the variety of drinks, food selections, and attractions. Vegas is unlike anything else, and I love seeing the diversity in culture. You literally see and meet people from all over the world. A few of my favorite places to visit when I go is the Fat Tuesday’s bar (I always get the yardstick margarita), Giordano’s, the indoor mall, the cookie dough shop, Hershey and coca cola world, and to Margaritaville. It is a lot to take in and absorb, I definitely felt overwhelmed my first time, but it’s beautiful and an experience I encourage many to experience if they get the opportunity.
