The only time that I have seen a wild animal is at the Zoo. I grew up going to the Brookfield Zoo in Brookfield, Illinois. It’s right near the city of Chicago. My top three favorite animals, besides dogs, are horses, dolphins, and snow leopards. I have never been fully understanding to my attraction of snow leopards. I find snow leopards to be beautiful, majestic, resilient, and fiercely strong. I used to love viewing the snow leopards in the area at the zoo. I would refuse to leave unless I saw them. I would watch the way they would interact with one another as adults, the mommas with their babies, playing, or often times sleeping right up near the glass window. I find them to be aesthetic and their ability to pay attention with patience, but yet ready to prowl is mind blowing to me. A snow leopard would be the only wild animal I would probably consider seeing in a natural habitat, but I would ensure I had safety with me.
